Energy Forum in London
A Forum on investment opportunities in energy sector in Mozambique started yesterday in London, United Kingdom, promoted by Merril Lynch International, one of well known international financial institutions operating in several markets.
Participating in the Forum are potential and investors and funders from Europe who are aware of the energetic projects in the world. The initiative falls in the scope of efforts that the Government of Mozambique takes into account in order to overcome the shortage of energy in Southern Africa.
The Government is represented by Mr. Salvador Namburete, the Minister of Energy, Mr. Pedro Couto, the Deputy Minister of Finance and the United Kingdom Higher Commissioner of Mozambique, Mr. António Gumende.
